For as long as I have lived in Albany, I've enjoyed dining at Kenneth's. I'm the heart of Arbor Hill. Kenneth's delivers a taste of Jamaica in every dish. Whether is curry chicken or Friday's Fish Fry. There's always something good on the menu. Servings are generous and affordable.

Amazing food! Location not so great, but then Again this is Albany NY smh...food was nicely seasoned, girl taking your order was rude, and the wait time was long. However, it was seemingly worth the wait

I have been a fan of Kenneth's for a long time. Whenever I want Jamaican food, this is my place to go. The decor is minimal, but there are photos of Jamaica, sayings and a large TV behind the counter. There are stools to sit at the counter but there are also booths to sit. The person behind the counter is always on top of all of the orders. There can be anywhere from 2-10 people there at a time and with multiple orders. She has always kept things organized and flowing. The attitude might be something to be desired, but it won't ever keep me from coming back. Kenneth's has the regular menu of oxtails, curry children/goat, jerk chicken, fish, beef patties, etc..and sides of peas and rice, cabbage, plantains. My one complaint is the curry is most of the time too spicy. I do love some spice, but at times it is too spicy to even enjoy. Boy does it get my nose flowing. One thing I hear almost everyone get is fish fry and french fries with cheese and tarter sauce. This is absolutely something to try. I don't do too well with cheese, so I get fries with just tarter. Delicious. I'll do that with a side of cabbage for lunch at times. All in all, if you are craving some good Jamaican food, stop by Kenneth's.
